About Daring Leaderman, Founder of 360ism
Photographer. Publisher. Educator. Builder of creative ecosystems.
How can we assist you
Daring Leaderman is the founder of 360ism Studios and the creator of DC Music & Models, CRED Magazine, PROCAST, Model Hustle, GamerGirls Mag and more.
For over 20 years, he’s been:
Shooting models, artists, and brands across the U.S. and overseas.
Producing TV, magazines, podcasts, and digital platforms
Working inside high-stakes environments with the FBI and Department of Defense
Teaching photographers and creatives how to master their craft
360ism is the latest evolution of that journey—a home base in Richmond, VA where all of that experience lives under one roof.
From “D.C.’s Camera Guy” to Media Architect
Daring didn’t start as a studio owner. He started as the guy willing to show up with a camera and figure it out.
In the early 2000s, he launched DC Music & Models, covering open mics, fashion shows, and nightlife in Washington, D.C. What began as hustling with a camera and a vision turned into DCMM Live TV, a show that ran on Comcast Access TV and documented the city’s music and entertainment scene.
Over that period, he filmed and photographed an entire era of culture—interviewing artists, DJs, promoters, and personalities, and building a name in D.C. as “the camera guy” who was always in the middle of something important.
That phase evolved into CRED Magazine, a print and digital publication that gave D.C.’s entertainment world a serious, magazine-level platform. CRED became a respected name in the city—proof that Daring could not only shoot content, but package it, publish it, and distribute it.
Government Work, Global Travel & Mastery
At the same time, Daring pushed deeper into the technical and professional side of media.
He worked as a government contractor and photographer for the FBI and Department of Defense, producing visual content in environments where there is no room for sloppy work or disorganized thinking. That experience sharpened his attention to detail, his respect for process, and his ability to operate under pressure.
From there, he doubled down on mastery:
Studying media communcationns and graduating from Full Sail University.
Investing in gear, software, and the constantly changing tech side of media
Traveling to shoot models and projects worldwide—Paris, Dubai, Africa, Europe, South America, and more.
Within 10–15 years, he moved from “guy with a camera” to a specialist in glamour, eye-candy, boudoir, and charm-style photography, refining a look and feel that people now recognize as his signature style.
Building 360ism: A Creative Ecosystem in Richmond
In 2020, Daring launched 360ism Studios in downtown Richmond, Virginia—a state-of-the-art space designed from the ground up for photographers, filmmakers, podcasters, models, and brands.
360ism isn’t just a room with lights. It’s an ecosystem:
360ism Studios – studio + event center for production and private events
Richmond VA Photos & Video – client-friendly photography and video services
PROCAST by 360ism – podcast and show production studio
RichmondPhotographyClasses.com / Learn.360ism.com – education for photographers and creators
360ism Publishing – magazines like Model Hustle, CVGG, and 360ism Magazine
360ism Agency & IMG – model development, group shoots, and professional opportunities
The idea behind 360ism is simple:
Put everything a serious creative needs under one umbrella—space, education, production, and community.
Educator, Mentor, and Creative Strategist
Daring doesn’t just shoot and rent space—he teaches.
As an instructor with Richmond Photography Group and through his own RichmondPhotographyClasses.com, he runs:
Intro and core photography classes for beginners
Specialty workshops on lighting, glamour, night photography, and studio work
Model-focused and creator-focused education on how to build portfolios and careers.
He believes real expertise shows up in two places:
The work you can produce on demand.
How clearly you can explain what you’re doing to someone else.
360ism is built around both.
Why 360ism Feels Different
A lot of studios can give you four walls and a few lights. 360ism is different because it’s built on the full arc of Daring’s career:
Media + TV + Publishing – DCMM, CRED, multiple magazines and platforms
Government-level professionalism – FBI/DoD production experience
International photography – working with models and clients around the world
Education & mentoring – teaching photographers, models, and creators how to move smarter
That mix shows up in how the studio runs, how events are organized, how models are treated, and how projects are handled from concept to final deliverables.
What This Means for You
When you work at 360ism—whether you’re renting the studio, attending a class, recording a podcast, or stepping in front of the camera—you’re tapping into:
A founder who understands both the art and the business
A space designed by someone who’s been on every side: photographer, producer, publisher, client
An environment that values craft, professionalism, and real results, not just aesthetics for social media
Daring built 360ism to be the place he wished existed when he started:
A serious home base for people who are ready to create at a higher level.
